Check out just some of my tips on having the best winter hair and skin hydration.

Winter Skincare Hydration

These winter months can be very brutal to our skin. Here are some  of the products I use to keep my hair and skin hydrated.

For my face, I start with a gentle Burt’s Bees face wash, then to the Oil of Olay moisturizer with SPF 15. It’s always good to have some sunblock in your face moisturizer.

For my body, I have a nice brown sugar scrub I make with olive oil, I leave that in the shower to remove the dead skin.  I usually try to use a soap that has olive oil or Shea butter in it already, just to make sure some moisture stays  on my skin. Then, when I’m out of the shower I use coconut oil to keeps my skin looking radiant. A really nice thing about coconut oil, you can also use it in the kitchen. It’s a healthier oil to cook with.

For my lips, as I mentioned in another recent post I have used EOS lip balm and its great.

For my hair, I use Moroccan Oil Shampoo, Conditioner and the leave in spray. Sometimes, if  after I wash my hair, and  it still feels quite dry, I  sleep with  coconut oil in it and wash it out in the morning.
