Around this same time last World Cup, I took a plane to South Africa to go hang with my family. Well, and party it up with my cousins and rest of the world. These are some of my personal pictures from my trip.
The entire experience was surreal being in my home country with all the fans. Everyone was having a serious blast regardless if their team lost or won. I was really stoked to have spent time with my friends from Norway and even saw some friends from the US.
Truth be told, the South African National Team isn’t very good at soccer. So, we usually follow our favorite players from premier league teams. My favorite player is Sergio Ramos who plays for the Spanish National Team. With that said, it was quite heart-breaking to watch Spain lose this World Cup. That is the nature of being a fan of sports. Ya win some ya lose some. No probs. I also like Italy, USA, and Brazil. Those are the only jerseys I own. Brazil being my last remaining team in the game. BOM DIA Brasil!
I think everyone should put a World Cup on their bucket list. Looking at these pictures makes me want to get on a plane to Brazil! Haha! Such a good time!! Enjoy the pictures. If you have questions leave a comment below.
Also, I’ve been streaming the World Cup on my phone with the free Univision App for my iphone….. aaaaaamazing! It’s all in Spanish and the commentators are very exciting. Anyhow, Happy World Cup everyone. Cheers!
